Brian began playing the drum kit and other percussion at an early age and was involved in various bands and rock groups through graduation from university.
A frequent traveler to Ireland over the years for business, he became a fan of Irish music. He became involved in the Traditional Irish music scene in Manhattan NY , while living and working there, picking up first the bodhran, then later adding the concertina.
Brian was an active member of the NYC session scene, teaches at Catskills Irish Arts Week, and has participated in frequent workshops and festivals in the west of Ireland for over a decade
